Marcos always seeks to do more and better. He believes that innovation is achieved through people, process improvement, and the creation and attention to procedures, always valuing transparency with the client.
Through his experience in working with national and international clients in companies such as Ágora, UBS, Banco BVA, and ICAP, he gained the expertise and foundation to venture into a new business.
Marcos met Paulo in 1999 at Banco UBS and they worked together again at ICAP. After leaving the company in 2017, they decided to start i9DC together in January 2018.
The idea has always been to democratize and facilitate the best of electronic trading for the financial market, being pioneers within the exchange to operate as Managed Service Providers (MSPs), something that only investment banks, brokers, and qualified investors had access to.
